Put Out The Lantern of Hope

today I don't compose a line of poetry
only weaving the thread of memories
about our body and soul in the early morning
release longing in a comfortable hug

today I did not embroider
just knitting a smile of happiness
when love is laced without sound
mix taste through face and kiss

today I don't assemble beautiful sentences
let the word stuck at the base of the tongue
just want to silence strong desires
fuse with a troubled-faced heart

today I don't paint about longing
because your shadow still accompanies me
just hope your fingers erase my sadness
then put out the lantern of hope in my heart
