Analysis and Processing of Educational Monitoring and Evaluation Results Data

The data analysis process begins by reviewing all available data from various sources, namely interviews, observations, which have been written in field notes, personal documents, official documents, photo images, and so on. The data is very much, after being read, studied, and reviewed, the next step is to conduct data reduction which is done by making an abstraction. Abstraction is an effort to make a summary of the core, processes and statements that need to be maintained so that they remain in it.
First: Basic Concepts of Data Analysis; Data analysis is the process of organizing data into patterns and categories to facilitate understanding. The goal is to holistically analyze the processes and meanings behind the program. There are two types of data: qualitative (soft data) and quantitative (numerical). Data processing involves typology and unitization, which is done through careful reading of all data. Categorization is done through comparative analysis in ten steps, ending with a review to ensure completeness. Data validity is maintained through triangulation techniques, in-depth observation, and discussion with colleagues.
Second: Tabulation of Educational Program Evaluation Data; Data tabulation is a description of respondents' answers in a certain way. Tabulation is a coding sheet that is useful for facilitating processing and analysis. Tabulation contains objects to be studied and numbers as symbols of categories based on the variables studied.
Third: Management of Educational Program Evaluation Data; In quantitative research, data analysis of education program evaluation includes two things: descriptive statistics, which is a data processing technique that aims to analyze groups of data without making conclusions about the population; Inferential statistics that include methods related to the analysis of part of the data to draw conclusions about the data and will apply to the entire parent of the data. While the techniques in qualitative research are by understanding, synthesis, theory, recontextualization.
Fourth: Data Management With Computers; Data are facts, estimates or opinions that do not yet have a meaning that can be utilized. Some methods that can be used in collecting it are direct observation, interviews, estimates, questionnaires. The data processing cycle consists of three basic stages, namely input, processing, and output. In the data processing method, it is classified into two processes, namely batch processing and immediate processing. Data processing with a computer must meet at least three requirements.
Data analysis is the process of organizing and processing data, both qualitative and quantitative, through various stages such as categorization, tabulation, and validation to obtain accurate meaning and conclusions in evaluating educational programs.
