Regulations can be equally decisive: since 1 May 2025, academic tutoring outside school hours has been banned, forcing a friend's five-month-old English-course venture in Taicang to close or face severe penalties. Such certainty in enforcement makes China exceptionally attractive to both domestic and foreign investors, notwithstanding current tariff disputes. As I often remark: "Wherever you find a country, you find Chinese products." If Indonesia mismanages its own industries, we may one day stand only on the ground God gave us---everything else made in China.
