How to Make Cassava Layer Cake (Lapis Singkong)

Layer cake is a traditional Indonesian cake. This cake usually consists of two colors
 or more arranged in layers, this gives the name of this cake. This cake is steamed every layer before then the top layer is added. 

The following tools and materials are needed :

Materials :
1. Cassava.
2. Coconut milk.
3. Sugar.
4. Flour.
5. Tapioca flour.
6. Food coloring.
7. Salt.

Steps :
1. Peel the cassava and wash it with running water.
2. Grate the cassava that has been washed.
3. Wash the grated cassava again so that the bitter taste and the smell is gone and drain the cassava.
4. After cassava is drained, mix grated cassava with flour, tapioca flour, sugar, salt, and coconut milk.
5. After mixing well, separate the mixture into several parts.
6. Then color the mixture that has been divided according to taste.
7. Heat the pan until the water boils.
8. After boiling water, pour the first mixture. Wait until 10 minutes.
9. After the first mixture is cooked, pour the second mixture that has a different color. Wait until 15 minutes.
10. Pour a different mixture and wait for 15 minutes again.
11. Then pour the last mixture and wait until 20 minutes.
12. Lift the cooked cake and wind it until the cake temperature drops.
13. After the cake temperature drops, cut according to taste
