The Veranda of Time

In the veranda of time, a melody sweetly flows,
Tracing tales from childhood to youth, then adulthood in a neat row,
We stroll through the corridors of shared impressions in books,
Etching the journey from past to present, where age gracefully looks.
In the veranda of time,
The silent chambers of the heart whisper pure,
Calling for piety, weaving spirits through time's allure,
Unscathed, eternal in feeling's embrace,
We weave beauty for the remaining days' grace.
Now is the time to move as the days draw near,
Pure intentions scattered, precious in each passing cheer,
God, the Forgiver, hope in attaining His pleasure,
We carve happiness, no longer fragile, in every time's measure.
In the veranda of time,
Past sins remembered in tightly held prayers,
The sky of the heart smiles, in His unparalleled care,
With Him, we walk into the future until death do us part,
More noble, more pure, more beautiful, in His sacred heart's art.
