Poverty is life darkness. It caused suffering and plight. It has destroyed life harmony.
It brought much sadness to people. Poverty is something both structural than cultural. But Muhammad Yunus who the Nobel laureate, predicts "Poverty does not belong in civilized human society".
Poverty is life enemy. We must kill it together. Spiritually, poverty tends to make poor people disbelieve in God.
Poverty is not only economical challenge. It is also fundamentally a spiritual challenge. It involves the whole person. You can not separate physical poverty from the mind, heart and the spirit.
Curing poverty requires a positive internal synergy of every part of our nature. A degraded and starving body, a depressed and unvalued heart, an uneducated mind, a despairing spirit these constitute the negative synergy, we call poverty.
A better Indonesia in my opinion, means a country without poverty!
The poor need respect and empathy. We must lift their sights so they too can see their worth and potential. Once they can catch that vision, they will start gaining that spiritual wealth that leads to material wealth.
When you lift the hearts of poor people, when you help them to see themselves as beings of infinite worth, they will take their own journey out of poverty. This is the job to be done.
SO, LET'S CHANGE OUR PARADIGM, CHANGE OUR MIND SET, CHANGE OUR PERCEPTION AND CHANGE OUR BEHAVIOR OF THE POOR! WE DON'T HAVE TO BE PARALYZED BY FALSE DILEMMAS. WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOCIETY TO CHANGE. WE CAN CONSCIOUSLY CREATE OUR OWN CHANGE!
"GOD WILL NEVER CHANGE ANY SOCIETY IF THEY DON'T CHANGE THEMSELVES!"
Therefor, let's be synergists, like those amazing people, who look at our society and see it's ills as opportunities for transformation, as invitation to change the game and create the future that is better than any our dreams of it!
