Although this does not provide you with a separate audio track right away, you can use some other software to later extract the audio stream.
2. Changing Audio Settings in a Video
HandBrake also assist you by changing the audio tracks in videos. For example, you may want to:
Convert audio codecs (AC3 to AAC, etc.))

Reduce Bitrates For Larger File Sizes
Down-mix channels (ex 5.1 surround to stereo)
The process is:
Load your video in HandBrake.
Go to the Audio tab.
Select your codec (for example, AAC), bitrate (for example, 64kbps), and mixdown (the only sensible option here is Stereo).
Export the file with the edited sound.
This can be helpful if you're optimizing video files for playback on various devices.
