        Soekarno was the first president in our country Indonesia, He have a big influence for the independence of Indonesia country. After six years of college education he established a party named Partai Nasional Indonesia on the 4th of July 1927 to helped Indonesian people get away from the colonialism by applying the political program to achieve Indonesia's independence, by using the economic and social programs it helps to advance national lessons.
        On 29th march 1929, Soekarno was arrested and imprisoned by the colonialist for his courage in opposing the colonialist's power. At the time of his trial, he issued a speech defense called "Indonesia Menggugat" and mentioning 60 important figures in the world including Dr. Snouck Hurgronje, the famous Dutch anthropologist to support his self-defense and his nation against the colonial rule.
        At the beginning of 1942 the colonialist began to experience power collapse after the bombing in the area of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That tragedy make colonialist allow the nation to establish a state independence preparation agency called BPUPKI. At that moment Soekarno began to make the basic formulation of the state of Pancasila and the text of the proclamation that will be read on the day of independence by Soekarno.
        On the 17th of august 1945 Indonesia declared Their independence with the reading of the proclamation manuscript by Soekarno and on that day also the first time Indonesia Raya song is listen along with red and white flag raising. A day after the proclamation Soekarno was appointed to be the first president of Indonesia by PPKI for his services to fight for Indonesian independence.
