In order to celebrate the Opening Ceremony of Fabrication Laboratory Education (FabLab Edu), lecturers, teachers and students took part in the Fablab Workshop organized by Chemistry and Chemistry Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sciences (FMNS),, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).
The Fablab Workshop which was held on Tuesday, May 14 2024 was a series of FabLab Edu FMNS UPI Opening Ceremony events. This activity was carried out at the FabLab, FMNS C Building, 1st floor. A total of 20 participants consisting of lecturers, teachers from several high schools and students were very enthusiastic about taking part in the workshop activities.
In this workshop, participants were introduced to various tools at the FabLab such as CNC Laser, 3D Printer, 3D Scanner, UV Printer, and UV DTF. Participants were also given the opportunity to try various tools in FabLab accompanied by FabLab instructors, Mr. Muhamad Nurul Hana, M.Pd., Mrs. Triannisa Rahmawati, M.Si. and Mrs. Miarti Khikmatun Nais, M.Pd.
One of the workshop participants, Mrs. Komalia, stated that this activity was very useful for teachers because it integrated the science of addition, digital technology and entrepreneurship, in accordance with the nature of the times.
"We hope that in the future this can continue to be a collaboration between UPI and our school," added Mrs. Cucun from MAN 1 Bandung.
Seeing the enthusiasm and interest of the participants, FabLab workshops will be held regularly every month, both for lecturers, teachers and students. (mkn)
