When Nederland colonize Aceh, This monument born to run Telephone service in 1903, which is being the first Telephone office in Indonesia. According to History, it happens in the era of Sultan Muhammad Daudsyah's Leadership. This monument locates at Jl. Teuku Umar, Kampung Baru, Baiturrahman, Banda Aceh City, Aceh.
There is less of Banda Aceh citizen that know this place, even though partially of them know this monument as  Representative PSSI  Office in  Aceh. but Actually, this Building is a telephone monument in the past, named Nederlandsch - Indi Telefon.
This monument has experienced a long history from the colonialism era by the dutch until the era of Japan (Nippon Asia), this monument ever use by the Indonesia military Kodam Iskandar Muda as telephone office, and then switch function being a National Sports Committee office ( KONI), then change again to an editorial office of Atjeh Post and last an official secretariat of PSSI Aceh an organization that manages soccer in Indonesia ,but  now this monument is protected as a cultural conservation object.
For you that want to visit Banda Aceh, going field trip or even hang out to this monument is a must.
The building structure is really beautiful, Â classic style mix with the colonial look, Â produced an epic picture in each frame shots, with background of Nederland building look.

The surrounding of this monument is also quite classic, you can chilling there under the shade of trembesi tree, it's quite nice.

1.-If you go by private motorcycle or even a car, park your vehicle properly.
  -if you walk by foot you can choose to go there by TransKutaraja Bus (that charge u for free), or even with OjekOnline like Goj*k and Gr*b.
2. For you foto maniac, make sure you have all the camera set up, full charge camera and lens with cap, cause it's a bit glare there.
3. No need money to go here, cause for the entrance retribution its charge you for Rp.0 Â A.K.A 'Free'. So if there's somebody tries to charge you up. Be firm to refuse his tax, cause it could be UnOfficial vees.
4. DressUp properly as The rules of Syariah, for u who unusual to use Muslim cloth. you must try to cover up your body as well as the Aceh citizen does. Because Banda Aceh well manages by the Islamic rules. Included rules way to dress up, so be gentle to any norm guys.
