Internship Experience at PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk: Supporting Digital Asset Management

As a student majoring in Information Systems from UNNES, I recently had the opportunity to complete an internship at PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel), one of Indonesia's largest telecommunications infrastructure providers and a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia. I was placed in the Asset Division, where I was involved in supporting the digital management and documentation of telecommunication tower assets.

My internship took place from February to July 2025, mainly in Semarang, Central Java. The main goal of this internship was to gain real world experience and apply the knowledge I had learned in university, especially in the areas of digital documentation, data management, and the use of information systems in a professional environment. 

During the internship, I worked on identifying and organizing documents related to tower assets. I was responsible for uploading and managing these documents in OneFlux, a system used internally by Mitratel. I also learned how to use OneFlux and Power BI to process and visualize asset data in the form of interactive charts and reports.  

This internship gave me valuable insights into how a major company manages its data and digital systems. I saw firsthand how information systems play a key role in increasing efficiency and supporting decision making in large scale asset operations. Overall, it was a meaningful experience that helped me grow both professionally and personally, and it strengthened my understanding of how digital transformation is applied in the real world.
