Sulastri (2021) stated that one of the duties of the madrasah principal as an implementation of his duties as a supervisor is to supervise teachers. Winarti (2020) stated that in general, supervision activities can be divided into two types, namely: general supervision and academic supervision. To carry out academic supervision effectively, conceptual, interpersonal and technical skills are required. Therefore, every school/madrasah principal must have and master the concept of academic supervision which includes: understanding, objectives and functions, principles, and dimensions of the substance of academic supervision. (Widana, 2020).

Fourth: Stage of implementation of Academic Supervision/supervision, the implementation of managerial supervision activities is intended to improve and enhance the quality of learning through improving and enhancing teacher professionalism. Improving teacher competence or professionalism is an important thing to do along with the increasing demands of society as stakeholders for higher quality education. The development of science and technology which is so fast requires teachers to be able to follow and adapt to this development.
