Tekanan dari jalanan dan militer akhirnya memaksa Oli mundur. Panglima Angkatan Darat Ashok Raj Sigdel menyarankannya melangkah turun demi meredakan situasi.
Oli lalu berlindung di barak militer Shivapuri. Pengunduran diri itu membuka jalan bagi pemerintahan interim yang dipimpin Sushila Karki.
Dari krisis Nepal 2025, ada beberapa pelajaran yang sulit diabaikan. Media sosial terbukti ampuh sebagai mesin mobilisasi Generasi Z.
Kultur impunitas dan korupsi pada akhirnya memantik harga politik yang mahal. Pekerjaan rumah terbesarnya jelas: membenahi sistem yang korup.
Nepal perlu bertahan dan mendorong pemerintahan yang lebih akuntabel.
