Majoring in management offers many real-world advantages. Factually, management graduates can enter various sectors—technology, healthcare, finance, and consulting—because they develop skills in leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making. Job growth in managerial roles is expected to increase by around 8% by 2032 (online.uc.edu).
However, in today’s era of global conflict, management challenges are becoming more complex. For example, the Iran–Israel war, which broke out on June 13, 2025, has caused thousands of casualties and disrupted global geopolitics (Wikipedia). Meanwhile, conflicts in Congo and Somalia have triggered major humanitarian crises.
In my opinion, management is not only about organizations or profit—it must also address global crises. Students should learn how to lead teams in emergencies, respond to urgent developments, and make strategic decisions under uncertainty. In times like these, management education must prepare graduates to handle real-world disruption, not just numbers and charts.
