Some of us choose to avoid the difficulties than to confront them. This choice is not because of no reason. The difficulty is something that make people unhappy or unpleasant. Someone always does the procrastination is he or she who avoids to confront the problem or difficulties. Avoiding a difficulties creates a condition where we cannot accept the oportunities to be a better person, to have a strong mentality, because difficulties can help us to understand the tactics which help solving problems which are happening on the next time.Â
Secondly, Procrastination can cause many problems both internally (Psychologically), and externally to the someone who does that . There are five negative sides of procrastination, such as:
1. Increasing stress levels
Delaying to do something important can increase the amount of stress. If we know that the deadline is in presence, we will feel a perplexity, confusing experience to reach the target or to finish that job in appropriate level.Â
2. Feeling guilty and regret
After we cannot finish our task or job in the appropriate time, absolutely, the regretful and guilty feeling will frighten up ourself. Thus, we cannot enjoy the next time and not comfortable to be around our friend or our teacher.
3. Afraid of failure and anxiety
This feeling will raise gradually when we continue to do procrastination. Because the longer we lazy and procrastinate something, the more increase of the perplexity in our mind which creates the felling of afraid and worried of failure.
4. Unfinished task
Postponed doing job will make something important unfinished ontime. We cannot do the other task before the first task is not finish yet. If we keep collecting the unfinished job. The other people around us will stigmatize us as a lazy person who does not have good skills.
