Leadership in the management of educational institutions is an important highlight in the midst of a crisis of quality and professionalism. The decline in the quality of education is strongly suspected to be influenced by a leadership style that is not optimal. The success of an institution is largely determined by the effectiveness of its leadership. Many leaders have not been able to manage resources wisely and vision-oriented. Therefore, this paper aims to examine the urgency of leadership management in education, especially in realizing institutional goals through structured and characterful strategies.

First, The Concept of Islamic Education Leadership Management: Islamic educational leadership management organizes resources and moves people to achieve goals. Leaders must adapt the capabilities of the institution to the needs, optimize potential, and be responsible. Their duties include empowering subordinates, completing tasks on time, teamwork, and realizing vision-missions. The quality of an institution is largely determined by the effectiveness of leadership, and problems usually arise due to inappropriate policies.

Second, Leadership Management Competencies of Islamic Educational Institutions: Leadership management in Islamic educational institutions must emulate the morals of the Prophet PBUH such as sincerity, honesty, trustworthiness, tawakal, and being friendly. Leaders must be able to resolve internal conflicts, both with themselves, teachers, leaders, and committees. Social skills are important for building relationships, maintaining harmony, and influencing the environment and prospective students. In addition, leaders must have professional knowledge and competence to be able to lead effectively and encourage the achievement of institutional goals.

Third, The Decision Model of Islamic Education Institution Leaders: The Islamic education leader decision model includes the selection of the best alternative through programmatic or non-programmatic decisions with brainstorming, delphi, quality group, and zone of acceptance techniques. Educational leadership is the ability to influence people to achieve goals as per the SNP. Alternative approaches can be based on religion (just according to God's teachings), philosophy (free and responsible), psychology (according to instinct and personality), and sociology (through social network analysis).

Fourth, Performance Productivity of Islamic Educational Institutions: The productivity of Islamic educational institutions is determined by the success of human resources in working optimally and motivated. Factors that affect productivity include ability, motivation, work environment, assessment transparency, and career path. Employee performance is measured based on the quantity and quality of work, punctuality, attendance, and teamwork.

It can be concluded that management manages resources, leadership moves people to achieve common goals, leaders must have a leadership spirit, be able to solve problems, socialize well, and have professional knowledge, decision-making must be appropriate, with rational methods and based on religious, philosophical, psychological, and sociological values, performance is determined by ability, motivation, work environment, assessment system, and career opportunities.
