When we talk about Indonesia, it's tourism that comes into our minds. It's undeniable not to acknowledge that Indonesia and tourism has a brother-sister relationship. To begin with, Indonesia consists of many islands, which results to many populations and many cultures. These results lead to many tourism objects, which then makes Indonesia as one of the best tourism destination in the world. Â Indonesia's tourism object can be said as a hidden treasure, waiting to be found and enjoyed. However, not even a 90% of Indonesia's tourism potentials have been explored. The main reason of this issue, is definitely the human resources.
Most of Indonesia's human resources are still lacking and not qualified enough to be able to understand on how to managing and producing Indonesia's tourism correctly. Thankfully, the governments of Indonesia don't stay still. Through the education, they start to make a changes and efforts to make a better quality person, to solve this issue. One of  the governments' way is to offer scholarship to tourism student. This time, the scholarship is a result of  cooperation by STP Trisakti, BUUIC (Buurapha University International College), International Affair Ministry, and Education and Cultural Ministry of Republic Indonesia.
The program is being held in BUUIC, Chonburi district, Thailand for approximately 15 months. After graduated, the tourism students will have a double degree, from STP Trisakti (S.S.T. Par) and BUUIC (B.B.A.). There are also many positive values can be absorbed during the learning process, where a student can enlarge their knowledge, make worldwide friends net-working, be more independent, learn more information about tourism, introducing Indonesia, knowing more about Thailand and most importantly the students can reflect from Thailand tourism.
As we all know, Thailand is one of the best tourism destination in the world. The local people have succeeded in preserving the traditional life-style and the cultures, yet they are very open-minded toward  the tourism impact and keep following up with the modern era demands. Not all country is able to do this, therefore, Thailand is the apt choice and I can say that this opportunity is the gold mine for those who want to enrich their knowledge in tourism by staying in Thailand, and those who are willing and determined to be the next tourism pioneer in Indonesia.
After graduating from BUUIC as well, the graduates are believed to be a better quality tourism person, who can apply what they have learned while they study during the time period given. Now, with all these positive values offered, students (in this case tourism students, specifically) are encouraged to join the scholarships. Because the advantages that can be taken from the scholarship, come from many aspects, and can be applied to many aspects as well. Most importantly, can be applied to Indonesia tourism, to be more open-minded like Thailand.
Last but not least, this will be an unforgettable and priceless experience for any individuals. So, it's clearly unnecessary to feel hesitate joining the scholarship, it's made for a good will, however. And from all the good things mentioned above, it's actually even more advantages can be absorbed during the learning process.
Hopefully, this scholarship chance can be one of the most effective problem solvers, facing Indonesia's tourism issue, heading to a better tourism management and exploration.
