The Universal Values of Pancasila

Pancasila:
- 1.Belief in the one and only God.
- 2.Just and civilized humanity.
- 3.The unity of Indonesia.
- 4.Democracy guided by the inner wisdom in the unanimity arising out of deliberations amongst representatives.
- 5.Social justice for the whole of the people of Indonesia.
Pancasila comes from the word "Panca" means "Five" and "Sila" means "Norms/Moral/Basic Rules" in Sanskrit, which means Five Norms/Moral Rules/Basic.
Pancasila consists of five basic values, namely: Divine values, Human values, Unity values, Deliberation values (Democracy) and Social Justice values.
In reflecting on the life of the nation and state on an international scale, this is an important matter to be used as a benchmark in the policies and regulations within a country to promote world welfare (Global).
Reflection on the Pancasila Life Viewpoint which is the foundation of the basic system of the Indonesian State as a whole, Pancasila certainly cannot be separated from Islamic Values in its journey, this is because there is a systematic connection with polarization regarding the policies used by the Prophet Muhammad SAW during the periodization of leadership in Medina, namely in the form of a Charter Medina and in Indonesia have something similar in the form of the Jakarta Charter.
A brief introduction to Indonesian State Ideology
Pancasila is a formulation that is outlined in the process of joint deliberations in determining the direction of the Indonesian nation to become a nation and state that is free from colonialism.
In its journey before the existence of Pancasila, the founders of the nation carried out the Jakarta Charter which later became the Forerunner of the birth of Pancasila, in the Jakarta Charter the existence of Islamic values and nuances was very strong in every point written and contained therein, only based on the results of deliberations to reach consensus, the Values the value of Pancasila in the Five Basic Points which is an inseparable element of the values contained in the Jakarta Charter which became the Ideological Foundation and became the forerunner of the constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which was systematically strengthened in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution.
Pancasila is a conflict resolution in the nation and state
Pancasila is present in Indonesia not as a substitute for religion, in Indonesia differences are nature from God Almighty, so that every difference becomes an announcement for all the people who are in the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Only a handful of people with shallow understanding use the Pancasila Issue as a religion, even though this is not the case. Pancasila stands to become an alliance across nations with all the differences that exist with equal rights and obligations and standing before the law.
Religious freedom and mutual respect are the essence of addressing religious differences in peace, without intervention and no coercion in religion. Every difference in schools of thought in Islam is a normal thing in everyday life, there is little possibility of frictional horizontal conflicts in the name of schools of thought.
The awareness that living on the same Earth and the obligation to maintain mutual peace is the goal of what is called "tolerance" helping fellow human beings to facilitate each other in the process of "gotong royong", solving every need and environmental problem in society together and without ulterior motives.
"A Glimpse of the Nation's Teacher HOS TJOKROAMINOTO"
Haji Oemar Said Tjokroaminoto is a national teacher and national hero, he is a devout Muslim, many of his students became high-ranking officials of the Indonesian nation, including Soekarno, the first president of the Republic of Indonesia.
HOS Tjokroaminoto's big role was to change the nation's thinking which led young leaders to become big thinkers and became a source of reference for the leadership of the Indonesian nation's movement towards independence.
HOS Tjokroaminoto is Laznah Tandfiziyah or President of the Organization founded by Haji Samanhoedi called Syarikat Islam (SI), previously the Islamic Trade Union (SDI). The birth of various Organizations leading to Indonesian Independence on August 17, 1945.
HOS Tjokroaminoto was a simple figure even though he was born in an aristocratic family, willing to give up his nobility title to work with the people.
It is these things that make a drastic change in the awareness of the Indonesian people for independence, unity, justice and prosperity together as the philosophy of mutual cooperation contained in the view of life with Pancasila.
A figure who actively builds collective awareness within the nation and state, introduces knowledge about religion and the world, and encourages benefit efforts in a strong economic sovereignty.
Even though he was not the President of the State, every national figure respected the figure of Haji Oemar Said Tjokroaminoto by conferring the title of hero to the deceased because it was the forerunner to the formation of the State and ushered in independence and created a Generation of State Leaders who actively participated in the process of independence for the Republic of Indonesia.
Pancasila Values and World Needs
Diversity among differences that unite in the Value of Unity is equality across Humans on Earth, different views, religious beliefs, ethnicities, skin colors, languages are something that is absolute from the Creator of the universe, so the process of mutual respect and glorification is something wise in the world.
Reducing cross-national conflict, stopping inter-religious conflict, and moving towards complete unity in living on one Earth.
These different perspectives become color variations in life that cannot be separated and do not deserve to be a source of contention, the positive thing that can be used is to feel the beauty of living in differences without disturbing each other and not harming each other materially or non-materially, this is a human right the highest on earth.Â
Thus the existence of social justice becomes the basis and breath of life for all living things, especially all mankind, the essence of maintaining peace on earth by promoting tolerance and togetherness in peace.
For this reason, carrying out "Independence is the Right of All Nations" is contained in the Preamble to the Indonesian Constitution, this applies to all nations and countries without exception. Equal Rights and Duties on Earth and hand in hand to "abolish colonialism in the world", so that Humanity can unite in peace.
Basic Program and Tandhim Program.
A reflection that becomes a set of values of the nation's struggle in implementing rules based on God's commands in Islam as true Muslims in the Asas program, and implementing a humanitarian work program in fighting evil (crime) in the Tandhim program. So that in the thought of Haji Oemar Said Tjokroaminoto really reflects the glory and courage of manners in carrying out Islamic values to fight as human work against any treatment oriented to colonialism and crimes against humanity.
