In simple terms, the philosophy of education is a rational and critical reflection on human nature, knowledge, values, and the learning process. This means that in this case, it is certainly the basis or foundation for the direction and goals of education. Meanwhile, in the digital age, the philosophy of education must still have relevance, and also be a moral and intellectual compass to navigate the complexities of technology.

According to Markov and Volkova (2020), the philosophy of education in the digital era must direct humans not to become "technology-blind users", but also to have ethical awareness and competence in thinking reflectively about every digital action. The reason is, although there are so many of several schools and methods in the world of philosophy and education, in fact, a truly in-depth and systematic analysis in the philosophy of education is still rare. This means that technology-based education requires a broader and deeper philosophical foundation, so that it remains humanistic and not trapped in utilitarianism alone.

In addition, his journal also states that currently humans are still often not careful in separating things such as spirit and nature, subject and object, body and soul, human and animal, so that everything is completely separate. In fact, in understanding education well, we also need to find ways to see the relationship between these different things, not just emphasize the differences. Because, in today's digital age, we are challenged to live in harmony not only with nature, but also with technology. Digitalization can indeed help humans, as well as in saving time, making work more efficient, and giving more space for creativity. However, we also have to realize that not everything can be done by machines or computers. In the aspect of education in particular, in the current digital age it also needs to change. That is, schools and universities do not need to focus too much on teaching things that machines can do, but can teach humans how to use technology for more human purposes, such as to think critically, ethically, create, and give meaning to life.
