Did you ever hear about global warming? I am sure among us all must have been familiar with the term global warming. Nowadays, global warming is one of the critical issues that we have to solve it.

Global warming until now is also still an international problem because it concerns the survival of human life which if this problem is left alone will have a serious impact on human life. Maybe some people will get confused what is the meaning of Global Warming. Yeah, global warming is a term used to indicate the gradual increase of earth temperature and its ocean.

Global warming is caused by carbon dioxide (CO2), air pollutants, and greenhouse gases that gather in the Earth's atmosphere that eventually absorbs sunlight and solar radiation that bounces off the earth's surface. Usually, radiation escapes into outer space; however, pollutants can be left over for years and stick to the atmosphere. This will result in trapping heat and causing the earth to become very hot. This event we know as the greenhouse effect.

In general, the greenhouse effect is needed for all living things on the earth. Without greenhouse gases, the temperature of the earth would be too cold and impossible to occupy, not even support for life. But if excessive, this gas can also cause the earth's temperature increasing. Surpasses human life survival thresholds and various other species.

Global warming is estimated to have caused changes in the system to ecosystems on earth, among others; extreme climate change, melting of the ice that sea levels rise, as well as changes in the number and pattern of precipitation. The existence of changes in the system in this ecosystem has had an impact of life in the earth such as the hearing of agricultural products, the loss of glaciers and the extinction of various types of animals. Global warming has triggered a number of adverse consequences both to the environment and to every aspect of human life. Some of them are as follows:

Extinction of various types of fauna. Flora and fauna have tolerable limits to temperature, humidity, moisture and food sources. The rise in global temperatures causes a disruption of the water cycle, the air humidity and the impact on plant growth thus inhibiting the rate of primary productivity. This condition also gives the influence of habitat and life of fauna.

Melting of the ice sheet at the North and South poles. These events resulted in rising sea levels globally, this could lead to a number of small islands sinking. The lives of people living in coastal areas are threatened. Population settlements were hit by tidal floods due to high tides, and this resulted in damage to social and economic facilities. If this happens continuously then the consequences can threaten the joints of people's lives.

In Indonesia, one example of global warming is the drought that experienced in several regions, one of them is the drought in Central Java. This drought that affected half of across in Central Java not only disadvantageous but also become a disaster for people that mostly working as farmers. It makes many farmers have crop failure in order to earn an income.

Global warming is not something worth seeing. Currently, global warming is a fact that will obviously be fatal if we continue to let happen. As humans who descend upon the surface of the earth, we cannot just sit back and wait for all things to get better. But realize that the global warming we are facing now is the result of all our efforts after the exploration and exploitation of the earth.

The problems we now face are not a natural phenomenon that just happens without a clear cause. However, it is a long-term effect that we must face after a massive industrial revolution. As people smoke, the earth also feels the same. Beginning with the pleasure of the cigarette and finally ended with a painful death. Certainly, the earth cannot speak, then if the earth is able to talk whether we will listen?

I do not know, I doubt it and I do not think so. As humans, we are only concerned with all the needs that are fulfilled. We are not at all concerned with the environment itself as long as all needs are met and adequately met. So what would happen if humans as the inhabitants of the earth did not care about his own place of residence? Will we allow the animals and plants to act? Of course not. They are merely ordinary creatures who have no intelligence like us. Will we let them be the victims of all our evil deeds? Of course not.
