Nothing ruins a happy morning (or makes a gloomy one worse) than stepping out of the bed onto a cold, hard floor. Do yourself a favor and make sure your feet are greeted with beautiful cushy rug. Play around with bright colors or unique patterns!
Make sure you have seating area for you to unwind at night or during the weekend. Pick a comfy single sofa to be placed on the corner, or choose a cozy beanbags that you can drag around anywhere you want to sit, or maybe get a lot of pillows for you to sit on the carpet.
Choose prints for your bedcovers, lampshades and pillowcases. Play around with those three major elements that can be infused with your favorite pattern. Don't be afraid to use different patterns to create a playful ambience, or stick to one pattern to obtain more minimalist and calmer ambience.
This is the most important thing to do. Make sure you have a space to put all your personal stuff. Your collections, books, memorabilia, and some other stuff that you love. Don't leave them scattered around on the floor. Having a bedside table is a must. If you have a lot of things then choose a bedside table with drawers. Or maybe you can also combine it with shelves to display all your collectible items.
