Flowers Can Wilt, But Crochet Bouquets Never Will!
Sometimes, great things begin withh something small! even from a simple sense of curiosity. The year 2021 was a difficult time for many people. Everything felt limited, schools were held online, and time seemed to move slowly. I was still a vocational high school student back then, trying to find ways to stays productive. That was when I discovered the world of crocheting.Â
At first, I just wanted to fill my free time. The colorful yarns caught my attention, and I tought, why not try to make something out of them? Each attempt wasn't perfect, but that was what made made it exciting. Through every mistake, I learned to be more patient and presistent. Slowly, I began to fall in love with the process.
One day, I wondered how I could make something useful for others. During the height of the pandemic, people couldn't go anywhere without their hand sanitizer. That idea led me to create my very first product, Crochet Hand Sanitizer Holders. I wanted to help people carry their sanitizers in a practical yet cute and creative way.
To my surprise, many people liked what I made. My friends, classmates, and even people I didn't know started showing interest. From there, my small business was born (Nyonyarajutku). The name represents a creative, patient, and warm-hearted woman whose care and effort can be seen in every stitch.
Through my Instagram page @nyonyarajutku, I began learning many new things. I learned how to take product photos with simple lighting, how to write engaging captions, and how to introduce my handmade creations to a wider audience. I went through every step with curiosity and a desire to keep improving. As time passed, the pandemic slowly came to an end. People’s habits started to change, and I realized that the demand for hand sanitizer holders was fading. That’s when I knew I needed to innovate again. I wanted to create something that wasn’t only functional but also beautiful.. something that could bring happiness to others.
After many trials and moments of inspiration, I came up with a new idea, crochet flower bouquets. For some, flowers are just temporary decorations. But for me, crocheted flowers represent everlasting love and beauty. Every petal I make carries meaning. Each stitch is filled with patience, care, and genuine feeling. These crochet bouquets symbolize the idea that beauty can last forever. They will never wilt, never lose their color, and will continue to brighten any room with their charm. Seeing someone smile after receiving one of my handmade bouquets is a feeling that words can’t describe.
Today, Nyonyarajutku is more than just a small crochet business. It’s a space where I pour my passion, creativity, and warmth into every creation. I want every person who receives my work to feel the sincerity and love woven into each thread. Because to me, every piece I make is not just a product! It’s a part of my journey, a reflection of growth, and a story of love stitched into every loop.
