English Short Essay: Hobby As Our Soul Mate... Hahaha

As we know, it's good to have hobbies in our life. There're many benefits we can get from doing good hobbies, such as to kill the boring times, to get more knowledge by reading, to have better health by doing sports, to have better skill by taking foreign courses, to have more friends by joining community clubs, or... to have the best "soul mate" ever. Hahaha... it might sound like joking to you, but actually it can be true. 

Wait a minute. Hobby is not a human. How can it be our soul mate? Some of you might have such question. Well... the explaination is relatively simple. Although I'm not a psychiatrist, psychologist, nor any "health expert", I'm pretty sure that hobby can make us happy, right? Hobby can fill something missing inside our soul. Hobby can accompany us whenever we're lonely. Yeah... I know, we must spend some money to have a hobby, but in return it's very worthwhile. 

In addition, unlike human soul mate, we hardly ever get angry with our hobby. Hobby is fun, while human can be boring. Hobby is something that understands us faithfully, while human can be contradictory with us. Hobby can make us happy, while human can make us sad. Hobby can never be jealous, while human --you know-- can be jealous. Yes... a hobby needs some money, but I'm sure it won't be as much as a human soul mate does. I mean we can still do our hobby moderately while we're broke. It's manageable. 

Does it mean I'm suggesting you to break up with your human soul mate and change it into inhuman one? Hahaha... no. I just need to emphasize that someone who likes being single or alone can be very happy too in life. These kinds of people are not always lonesome. Who knows they have many hobbies that can make their lives meaningful. In fact, their lives can be much more happier than those who have unhappy marriages. What is fun to get angry with our spouse or human soul mate all the time, right? No offense... it's only a simple question. 

For me, I like living with my hobbies. I like reading since my childhood. When I grew up, I began to like writing too. Listening to music is also my hobby since teenager. I like rock and heavy metal music in selective way. Watching action movie is my other hobby. It's fun and --you know-- we can also learn English by setting up the subtitle into English. Philately or collecting stamps is my other hobby. We can learn history from it and the pictures are beautiful. Old and rare stamps can be precious too. In spiritual activity, I like doing meditation every day at home. It's good for my mind and body. In digital world, I'm active in facebook: Nurseta Bramadi. I join in many fb groups, both local and foreign ones. Lastly, I also like playing offline PC games. I like war games or zombie games.

Well... that's all. For those who want to get married, I just want to say: good luck. Having a family is not as easy as it looks. For those who like being alone with hobbies and staying positive in life, I'd say: welcome to the club... hahaha.
