One day, Andre, a seventh-semester literature student, went to his campus library to look for materials for his thesis. He walked over to the bookshelf and picked up several books he needed. Suddenly, a loud noise echoed --- "Bang!"
The sound came from an aisle between the shelves. Curious, Andre decided to check it out.
It turned out to be just a book that had fallen. He reached out to pick it up and was about to return it to its place.
Before putting it back, he read the title --- "Andre and Princess Andrinata."
Andre frowned. "Huh? Why does this book have my name in the title?" he muttered, confused and intrigued.
Driven by curiosity, he decided to read it.
Time passed quietly. The only sound in the library was the ticking of the clock. Andre became completely absorbed in the book.
But by the time he finished it, he felt disappointed --- the story didn't give him any answers.
Still, his curiosity only grew stronger, especially because the book contained an illustration of the princess and a knight --- and the knight looked exactly like him!
"What the heck... what kind of book is this?" Andre muttered, staring at the illustration.
The book was just a classic fairy tale --- about a kingdom attacked by an evil sorcerer and his dragon.
When all hope was lost, a brave knight named Andre appeared, defeated the sorcerer and the dragon, and saved the princess.
While Andre was pondering the story, the book suddenly glowed, and his body felt as if it were floating.
A few seconds later, he fell --- hard --- into a grand hall he didn't recognize.
From the architecture and decorations, it looked like something out of medieval Europe.
Andre was surrounded by strange people in cloaks holding staffs --- they looked just like wizards from the fairy tale itself!
In front of him stood a breathtakingly beautiful woman. After a moment, he realized --- she looked exactly like the princess in the story.
"Adiratna..." Andre said without thinking.
Everyone in the hall gasped.
