This is a story about how three friends were nearly lost in the depths of time travel, stranded in an unknown era, and nowhere to find a way back to their current timeline. Their journey travelling through various timelines in the name of science and proving that time travel can be a new invention for those who wish to see history for themselves in their own eyes may result in the three friends facing various conflicts, challenges that they may face head on in this time-changing adventure of a lifetime.
This adventure will not change the fate of the entire universe, but it will change the will of these three friends to never ever mangle with the strings of fate, the gears of time that will keep on flowing forever until the end of their time on earth.
It was the year of 2030, technology was on the rise of new inventions from great geniuses all over the world. These new inventions that these geniuses invented were: robotized workers that act as a specific job that doesn’t replace the humans job itself, better vehicles with new designs that have more automated parts in the cabin and outside with the additional new improvements that they evaluated from previous designs and concepts. All of those new inventions were only the surface, there are millions if not billions of new inventions on the horizon.
However, this story isn’t about those who made those said billions of inventions, our story revolves around a small house, near the big city, in a garage. In this small house, lives 3 best friends, Mach Gillinhall, Tommy ‘Earn’ Killick Jr., and Remington Smith Wesson. Who sought to chase their dreams to work in a big corporate company with their main focus is in the name of science, to build inventions, discover new things that are hidden in this planet, and build world peace in the name of science and teamwork from around the world.
It was a summer afternoon, Wednesday, the three best friends were just hanging out at Tommy’s house in his garage. The trio were just working on a new invention for their science competition, they were planning to build some sort of time machine that will actually work, the three were really invested in the concept of time travelling from sci-fi movies that they wished to make one of their own, thanks to the current year of 2030, they have the right materials, spare parts to try and build a working time machine.
Mach, Tommy, and Remington have been building this contraption about 2 and a half years, thanks to them saving every bit of their paycheck to work on their dream project for this opportunity in the Annual Scientific Competition XXII, they have been working hard to get this project going and hoping they can win at least either a silver or bronze, even better if they scored a gold medal.
One day, Mach was just finishing some missing details and adding some required parts that are vital for this machine to actually work, while Tommy and Remington were just doing some checkups for the machine if there is anything wrong, missing, or either just a bit of rust was a no go. After the trio thinks it’s ready, Tommy then grabs the cable and plugged it in, then signals Remington to get the machine running and charging. Mach then stood back as Remington clicked some buttons, flipped some switches from the main panel, their machine hummed to life as sparks of electricity were forming from the charged machine that they had conducted. As the machine charged itself, a dark blue, circular vortex was slowly forming, Mach was the first to creep closer to the vortex, Mach and the other two were surprised that the machine was a success.
Mach then tells Tommy to head to the control panel, there, a large panel with a large keyboard and a wide screen was shown that asks, “Where do you wish to go?”. Tommy then looks at the two, his face asking for any confirmation or an order as to where they wanna go, Mach responds to Tommy with an enthusiastic tone, “Let’s head over to the mid 90s!” Remington was surprised by Mach’s enthusiasm, but he was worried about that offer, Remington gave a counter offer, “Uh.. how about we go back just about a day before?” Mach and Tommy share a worried look, that Remington might be right about that.
After the trio were contemplating where to go, they finally decided to travel back in time just about a day before, Tuesday. Tommy, Mach, and Remington all nodded in agreement that they’ll settle for that time, as their test run. After building a lot of courage, Tommy set the date on the panel to 17/01/2030, and the duration for their time travelling was about 30 minutes, so the trio only has 30 minutes to travel through time, otherwise the vortex closes and they’ll be stuck within that timeline forever.
Once they went through the time vortex, they were now exactly what the date was typed in, it was Tuesday. They came out of the vortex that was behind Tommy’s backyard, it was exactly how they remembered it, the trio was just busy with themselves finishing the time machine that will be done by the time wednesday arrived, after they did some snooping around, they went back to the time vortex. While Tommy and Remington went back to the vortex, Mach managed to grab a garden gnome that was in their backyard and brought it back to their present.
