Cultural tourism is a significant part of the creative sector. The creative industries are a critical tool for socioeconomic development and have been hailed as a catalyst for urban and regional renewal. Individual creativity, ability, and talent are valued in creative industries, as are industries that have the potential to generate income and jobs through the development or production of intellectual property.
