The Javanese Knight

One bright day in the Kingdom of Monian, the weather suddenly turned dark and cloudy within seconds. Moments later, a legendary dragon named Berus appeared. He had come to claim a promise once made by the King of Monian --- a promise to offer a young maiden, the princess herself, in exchange for great power granted by the dragon. After Berus took the princess away, the King was filled with guilt and regret. He then announced a royal decree: anyone who could rescue the princess would be rewarded with great riches and honor.

The news of the challenge spread far and wide until it reached the Kingdom of Ngawi, where a brave warrior known as the Javanese Knight resided. Upon hearing the news, he asked King Fuads of Ngawi for permission to join the quest. At first, the king refused, for the Javanese Knight was his greatest warrior. Yet, after much persuasion, the king finally gave his blessing.

After months of travel, the Javanese Knight arrived in the Kingdom of Monian and met King Dustin, who welcomed him warmly and told him everything about the dragon and the captured princess. The knight requested a night's rest before setting off to face the beast the next day.

At dawn, the Javanese Knight began his journey to the dragon's lair. After weeks of arduous travel, he finally reached the fearsome and enormous cave where the dragon lived. Though the place was terrifying, the knight did not falter. He found the mighty Berus sleeping and launched a sudden attack. Startled and enraged, the dragon fought back fiercely. A great battle ensued between them for five long hours, shaking the earth with their power. In the end, through unmatched courage and strength, the Javanese Knight emerged victorious, slaying the dragon.

After the battle, the knight searched for the princess and found her in a hidden chamber, lying fast asleep under a magical barrier that had kept her in slumber for many months. The Javanese Knight shattered the barrier, and the princess awoke, frightened and confused. Once he explained what had happened, she calmed down, and together they returned to the Kingdom of Monian.

Upon their arrival, King Dustin joyfully welcomed them and announced that the knight's reward would be the hand of the princess in marriage. The Javanese Knight was surprised but humbly accepted the honor. Their marriage united the two great kingdoms of Ngawi and Monian, creating an everlasting bond of friendship and peace between them.

And so, from that day on, the Kingdoms of Ngawi and Monian lived in harmony, bound together by the bravery and honor of the Javanese Knight.
