In the grand kingdom of Rivendell, stood the magnificent Buckingham Palace, rising proudly above a glittering valley. The land was known for its silver rivers, glowing trees, and skies that shimmered like dawn's first light. King Alden ruled with wisdom beside Queen Mirana, a queen of grace and quiet strength. Their daughter, Princess Isabel, was known throughout the realm for her courage and kindness --- a beacon of hope for all of Rivendell. But peace is a fragile gift. One storm-laden night, the sky turned crimson, and thunder rolled like the roar of a beast. From the darkness above, a vast black shadow descended --- Dravokar, the ancient dragon once thought to be only myth, had returned to the mortal world.
Long ago, Dravokar had been Rivendell's sacred guardian, sworn to protect the balance between humans and the forces of magic. But centuries of betrayal and greed from humankind shattered that sacred bond, turning him into a creature of wrath and flame. Now, his vengeance burned across the land. Villages fell to fire, the rivers boiled, and the cries of the innocent echoed through the night. Princess Isabel, her heart torn by the suffering of her people, swore to face the dragon herself. She pleaded with her father to allow her to confront Dravokar with Sir Kael, the loyal knight of Rivendell. But King Alden, fearing to lose his only child, forbade her. Undeterred, Isabel slipped away from Buckingham Palace under the veil of darkness, carrying Luminar --- the celestial blade forged from the light of a fallen star, said to be the only weapon capable of piercing a dragon's heart.
Their journey led them to the fiery depths of Mount Morvath, where Dravokar slumbered in a cavern of smoke and molten stone. As they entered, the dragon awoke, his eyes burning like twin suns. "Foolish mortals," he thundered, "you come to face eternity itself?" Isabel stood her ground, her voice calm yet resolute. "I came not to kill you, Dravokar," she said, "but to restore the honor my people destroyed." Yet Kael, blinded by rage, charged first, his sword gleaming in the dim firelight. The battle that followed tore the heavens apart --- fire against light, fury against faith. Amid the chaos, Isabel threw herself in front of Kael, shielding him from a blast of fire. Gravely wounded, she looked up at the dragon, her eyes filled not with fear, but compassion. For the first time in centuries, Dravokar hesitated. Seeing her sacrifice, his rage began to fade. With her final strength, Isabel raised Luminar high, and the sword's radiance washed over the battlefield, purifying the darkness. Dravokar spread his wings and rose into the night sky, leaving only silence --- and peace.
From that day forth, Rivendell lived in light once more. The legend of Princess Isabel, the maiden who tamed the dragon with courage and mercy, was carved into the stones of history --- a tale of fire, redemption, and eternal grace.
And her spirit still watches forever.
