The Curse of Group B for Real Madrid

Since 2000 with 8 groups stage (A-H), it's been 14 times that no team from Group B won the UEFA CL. Well let's see @realmadrid this season.

Even on 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 when second group stage divided into 4 groups (A-D), still the winner all from Group C. None of #GroupB

In 1998 & 1999 when group stage divided into 7 groups (A-F), the winners are all from Group D. What's wrong with #GroupB ?

Last time Winner from #GroupB was on 1997 when DORTMUND won the UEFA CL. However, the group stage was divided only in 4 groups (A-D).

Last season BAYERN was in Group F, the lucky group of 5 throphies. It was Group A which 2 times followed as winner after Group F.

So (this season) Man United as winner of Group A may continue Madrid (2002) or Leverkusen as runner-up may continue Liverpool (2005).

PSG may continue BARCA (2009) as winner of Goup C, the other group winner after Group F. BAYERN from Group D may continue BARCA (2011).

So this season, MADRID should forget La Decima. Let's see if Man United, Leverkusen, PSG, or Bayern will continue this mystic group :)
