I was a bit surprised when I was asked about God. Then I try to post the question what God is. And some answers lead to 'creationism' and the universe as the proof. It might seem odd to list 'existence' as an attribute of God, but that's not actually the point here. Of course believers think that their god exists - what is at issue is how God exists. According to philosophical theism, God exists in a very special and unique way: God's existence is necessary rather than contingent. When debating the existence of god, perhaps the most important step is the one that gets overlooked the most often, and by both atheists and theists: defining what is meant by the concept 'god.' We can't debate the existence of something unless everyone is clear what it is they are talking about; otherwise, people might be talking about completely different things. A very common attribute of gods in religious traditions around the world is that of creation — our universe, our world, and indeed our very selves often  their existence to creative acts of the gods. In the Western traditions of philosophical theism, the existence of everything is owed to a single creative act by a single perfect God.

From some answers to my post of what God is,  I picked this following description:

GOD is a human creation. A pre-rational stage or the primitive stage. To the primitive mind, GOD is the mysterious supernatural. Sunshine, darkness, rainfall, drought, the clap of thunder, the hooting of a spotted owl – all are inexplicable..., portentous, and sacrosanct. TO the primitive mind, man is metaphysically subordinate to GOD, which can never be commanded, only meekly obeyed, always lives in fearful awe of GOD's creation he cannot understand. The primitive mind does not grasp the law of causality, and does not comprehend the fact that the world is governed by natural laws, and nature can be ruled by any man who discovers those laws.
There several divine attributes which receive a lot of attention, but there is none quite so important for traditional believers as the general principle of absolute perfection and the narrower implication that, therefore, God is worthy of our worship. These are the reason why the existence of God is the subject of so much debateGod as a Devine? The characteristics of transcendence and immanence appear to conflict.
God as a divine without body ?A transcendent God is beyond perception, independent of the universe, and wholly 'other'. An immanent God exists within - us, the universe, etc. - and a part of our existence. How can these qualities exist simultaneously?
Prevalent God? the designer of the universe?what is it the idea when God comes to a religion? in a religion God is everything. Religion is the new racism. Like racism, at its best, it provides one with a feeling of privileged status as well as social rules that replace critical thinking, and at its worst, the excuse for the most wicked behavior."-- Andrew Lasswell;;

I need more discussion... ^_^
