Jenang HoEL Solo, Original Made in Java

Solo is famous for its culinary tourism. One of the culinary specialties of the city of Solo is jenang. Solo-style Jenang is a food made from rice flour which will later be served with coconut milk and also Juruh (diluted brown sugar). Solo-style Jenang has a soft texture and is easy to enjoy.

HoEL jenang stall was established in 2016. So far, HoEL jenang stall has four branches in Solo. The first location is on Jl. Jambu Raya no.16, Jajar, Laweyan, the second location is on Jl. National Awakening no.51, Sriwedari, then the third one is on Jl. Dr, Cipto mangunkusumo no 35, Mangkubumen, Banjarsari, and the last one is in the Gentan area. 

Opening hours are from 09:00 to 15:00 WIB. At HoEL's jenang stall, the variety of jenangs sold is marrow, black sticky rice, pearls, grendhul, starch, and of course the brown sugar syrup. The price for one portion is IDR 5,500 - IDR 6,500 only, depending on the buyer's request to be wrapped or put in a cup.

At HoEL jenang stalls located in Sriwedari and Banjarsari, apart from jenang you can also enjoy various other culinary delights. To satisfy a rumbling stomach you can order lontong racing food and there are also various kinds of fried foods.
