SUKOHARJO - In the context of security readiness ahead of Eid, the Sukoharjo Police held a Ceremony for the 2023 Ketupat Candi Operation Troop at the Sukoharjo Police Headquarters, Monday (17/4/2023).
Ceremony participants attended, among others, the TNI, Polri, Damkar, Senkom, Linmas, Satpol PP, Saka Bhayangkara and several other agencies.
Sukoharjo Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan, emphasized the readiness of his staff to carry out Operation Ketupat 2023. His party deployed around 700 security personnel, plus from the TNI and related stakeholders.
Apart from that, Wahyu also revealed that in securing and managing the flow of going home and back, the police also set up four security posts (pospam), one of which is located at the Simpang Empat Statue of Jamu Bulakrejo Pospam.
Then, the Solo Baru Pandawa Statue Roundabout Pospam, the Tugu Kartasura Simpang Pospam, and the Simpang Empat Sanggung Integrated Post. "(The reason) is that the location is predicted to have a trouble spot or a location that has a high level of traffic density," he explained.
Wahyu also appealed to people who want to carry out takbir ahead of Eid, just stay in the mosque. "So there are no takbir around especially those who use open vehicles, we don't allow that," he explained.
Dandim 0726/Sukoharjo Lt. Col. Czi Slamet Riyadi added that in carrying out Operation Ketupat Candi 2023, his party deployed 175 personnel, with details of 100 personnel in the field, 30 personnel on standby, and 45 personnel at the Command Post. "In addition, Kodim 0726 will also open a rest area for travelers at each Koramil in the Sukoharjo area," he said. (bayu)
