The Nature Of International Islamic Education Innovation Management

History records that countries that pay high attention to the world of education will experience higher progress compared to other countries that put education second. However, great attention from the state alone is not enough, because practitioners and academics must strive to innovate in managing education. Educational innovation is based on the goal of education to improve the quality of education so that it can educate the nation's life and form competitive and dignified people. Thus educational innovation can be said to be an effort to make a change with the aim of obtaining something better in the field of education.

First: Basic Concept of Islamic Education Innovation Management, a series of activities planning, organizing, mobilizing, controlling (supervising and assessing) all efforts in organizing and utilizing human and non-human resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the goals of educational innovation that have been set. Its characteristics include Relative advantage, Compatibility, Testability, Observability, and Complexity. The principles according to Peter, namely open, conceptual and perceptual analysis, starting from small things, leadership direction and pioneering. The targets are the education system, regulations, and learning systems. The goals and directions in catching up and trying to organize school and out-of-school education for every citizen.

Second: Educational Innovation Model, a series of activities carried out by individuals/organizations, starting from being aware of innovation to implementing (implementing) educational innovation. Invention, discoveries about something new. Development, the renewal process usually has to undergo a development before it enters a large-scale dimension. Diffusion, the spread of new ideas from the source of the invention to the last user or absorber. And adoption, the process of renewal and diffusion in every aspect of acceptance, exceeding the time limit, several items, ideas/practices, individuals/groups, and units that can adopt communication channels, social structures, and towards certain value systems or cultures.

Third: Strategy for Developing Islamic Education Innovation, The strategy of coercion based on power is a pattern of innovation that is very contrary to the rules of innovation. The basic assumption in this strategy is that humans are able to use their logical minds or reason to act rationally. In this regard, innovators are tasked with demonstrating their innovations using valid methods to provide benefits to their users. Normative-re-educational strategy, a strategy that emphasizes the understanding of the implementers and recipients of innovation, can be done repeatedly. 

Fourth: Process and Procedure for Educational Innovation Management, the knowledge stage, which is when someone is aware of the innovation and wants to know the function of the innovation. The persuasion stage, the mental activity process that plays a major role is the affective or feeling field. The decision stage occurs when someone carries out activities that lead to determining whether to accept or reject the innovation. The implementation stage of the innovation decision process occurs when someone applies the innovation. The implementation stage takes place actively, both mentally and in action. confirmation stage, a person seeks reinforcement for the decision he has made and can withdraw his decision if information is obtained that contradicts the original

Therefore, Innovation management is a series of activities to plan, organize, mobilize, control (supervise and assess) all efforts in managing and utilizing human and non-human resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the goals of educational innovation that have been set. With various models of educational innovation which are a series of activities carried out by individuals/organizations. In addition, it is supported by various educational innovation strategies with processes and procedures that are in accordance with educational innovation management.
