Implementation of Educational Supervision and Evaluation Program: Enhancing Performance and Success of Educational Programs

Education is the primary foundation of national development. Good quality education will produce intelligent, integrity-driven, and globally competitive generations. However, achieving good quality education requires the effective implementation of educational supervision and evaluation programs. This program aims to enhance the performance and success of educational programs through a systematic and effective process.

First, The implementation of educational supervision and evaluation programs is crucial for improving the performance and success of educational programs. This implementation involves several key stages, including planning, implementation, and reporting. In the planning stage, evaluation, evaluation instruments, and sample determination need to be prepared based on the program's objectives and success criteria. In the evaluation process, several steps need to be taken, such as selecting criteria, setting standards, collecting data, and integrating results for recommendations and decision-making.

Second, Preparation of Educational Supervision and Evaluation Programs, The preparation of educational supervision and evaluation programs is a critical stage in the evaluation process. Proper preparation ensures that the evaluation of educational programs can be conducted effectively and efficiently. There are several aspects to consider in preparing educational supervision and evaluation programs, including: 1) Preparation of evaluation programs, including the development of evaluation instruments and sample determination, which depends on the program's objectives and success criteria. 2) Development of evaluation instruments, which requires several steps, including formulation of objectives, creation of grids, and editing. Evaluation instruments must be valid and reliable to ensure accurate and objective evaluation results. 3) Educational supervision and evaluation can use sampling or population methods, depending on the needs. Sampling methods are used when the population is too large, while population methods are used when the population is relatively small.

Third, Implementation of Educational Supervision and Evaluation Programs, The implementation of educational supervision and evaluation programs involves several key stages, including planning, implementation, and reporting. In the planning stage, evaluation, evaluation instruments, and sample determination need to be prepared based on the program's objectives and success criteria. In the implementation stage, educational program evaluation requires an appropriate approach model and standard components, including evaluation models, approaches, and standards such as utility, feasibility, propriety, and accuracy to produce operational recommendations based on research findings.

Fourth, Monitoring and Evaluation, Monitoring and evaluation play a vital role in enhancing performance and minimizing misuse with functions such as compliance, inspection, and reporting, as well as principles such as objectivity and continuity. Monitoring aims to collect data, provide program needs input, identify problems, and provide feedback to improve program success. There are several evaluation models that can be used, such as CIPP, CSE-UCLA, and DEM. The CIPP model is one of the most commonly used evaluation models, as it can comprehensively evaluate educational programs.

The implementation of educational supervision and evaluation programs is a systematic and effective process to enhance the performance and success of educational programs. With proper planning, implementation, and reporting, this implementation can help achieve predetermined educational goals. Therefore, the implementation of educational supervision and evaluation programs is crucial in improving the quality of education and achieving predetermined educational goals. By implementing these programs, educational institutions can improve their accountability and transparency, ultimately leading to better educational outcomes in Indonesia

Rovi Ali Mashuri was born on July 15, 2001, in Bandung. He is the second of three children to Asep Saepudin and Iceu Solihati. Rovi's educational background includes graduating from MI Al-Hidayah Malingping in 2013, MTs Ar-Rahman Cikalongwetan in 2016, and MAN 2 Cianjur in 2019. He then pursued his undergraduate degree in Indonesian Language and Literature Education at the Indonesia University of Education, graduating in 2023. Currently, Rovi is furthering his studies in Islamic Education Management at the Postgraduate Program of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung.

Rovi's motivation for pursuing a Master's degree in Islamic Education Management stems from his desire to deepen his knowledge and understanding of Islamic studies. He believes that strengthening his foundation in Islamic knowledge will enable him to become a more informed and devoted individual. Rovi's motto is "Teruslah Mencari, dan Temukan," which translates to "Keep Searching, and You Will Find." This motto reflects his commitment to lifelong learning and his pursuit of knowledge and personal growth.
