In the era of globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Islamic education is required to be competitive at an international level while upholding universal Islamic values. However, complex challenges such as disparities in education quality, low adaptability to technology, and weak integration of global curricula pose serious obstacles in realizing that vision. Therefore, the optimization of innovative management has become an urgent need to strengthen the global competitiveness of Islamic educational institutions.

Through a creative, flexible, and research-based managerial approach, Islamic educational institutions can develop adaptive, collaborative, and globally relevant learning systems. This managerial innovation also serves as a crucial bridge to improve human resource quality, expand international networks, and affirm the position of Islamic education as an integral part of global civilizational transformation.

First The Basic Concept of Innovation Management in Islamic Education: The essence of innovation management in Islamic education lies in creative efforts to solve educational problems through new, efficient, and effective approaches. A good innovation possesses superior characteristics, aligns with values, is testable, observable, and easy to understand. Ideally, innovation begins with analysis, has a conceptual basis, starts on a small scale, and acts as a pioneer of change. The main target of innovation is the educational system, including curriculum, management, and the teaching-learning process involving educators. The goal of innovation is to improve the quality of education in order to gradually overcome the gap in science and technology.

Second Educational Innovation Models: Innovations in education usually take the form of adaptations or new ideas that differ from previous practices. Development is initially conducted through small-scale research before being implemented more broadly. Dissemination occurs gradually and evenly from the innovator to the users. Absorption refers to the moment when individuals or groups accept new ideas or practices within a certain social context.

Third Strategies for Developing Innovation in Islamic Education: The power strategy is enforced by authority without involving implementers as active participants. The rational strategy is carried out through logical explanations based on analyzed realities. The normative re-educative strategy emphasizes changes in values and attitudes through repeated educational processes that shape the understanding of implementers.

Fourth Processes and Procedures in Innovation Management in Education: The knowledge stage is when a person becomes aware and open to innovation. The persuasion stage occurs when an individual begins to like or reject the innovation based on perceived benefits. The decision stage is when one chooses to adopt or reject the innovation. The implementation stage is the actual application of the innovation, supported by facilities and the commitment of those involved. The confirmation stage reinforces the decision, although it may change if new, contradictory information arises.

Conclusion

Islamic educational innovation aims to improve quality through creative solutions, needs analysis, and gradual system changes. The innovation model includes discoveries, developmental research, idea dissemination, and social acceptance. Innovation strategies encompass authoritarian approaches, rational approaches, and value-based re-education. The innovation stages involve becoming aware, considering, deciding, applying, and reinforcing the innovation. Semoga Bermanfaat....
