THE CONCEPT OF MANAGING EDUCATORS AND EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL

This paper was written to fulfill an assignment for the Human Resource Management course, based on the CK and modules. The discussion focuses on Islamic education management. Through this description, the author highlights the fundamental role of human resources in determining the success of an institution. The existence of humans as the primary educational resource places educators in a strategic role as agents of change and mentors, while educational personnel serve as operational support at the core of the entire process. The above understanding is expected to strengthen students' academic competencies and provide an applicable overview of educational research practices.

Foreword

This paper was written to fulfill a course assignment based on the CK and modules. The discussion focuses on the Fundamentals of Islamic Educational Resource Management. Current phenomena demonstrate that understanding and implementing effective management concepts is key to ensuring that each individual can contribute optimally, so that educational goals, both academically and in character development, can be achieved holistically.

First: In an educational institution, educators and staff are the most valuable assets. They are the primary drivers of education, not merely replaceable objects. Therefore, human resource (HR) management in the education sector must be strategic and development-oriented. This process encompasses not only administration but also a series of systematic activities designed to ensure each individual can contribute optimally in accordance with the institution's vision and mission.

Second: Educators play a crucial role as mentors, role models, and agents of change, shaping students' character. Meanwhile, educational staff, such as administrative staff and librarians, are tasked with supporting operations to ensure the learning process runs effectively. Both must possess adequate qualifications and competencies, encompassing pedagogical, personal, professional, and social aspects. Mastery of these competencies is absolutely essential to creating a conducive and high-quality learning environment.

Third: The management of educators and educational staff encompasses a comprehensive cycle. It begins with needs planning, continues with rigorous recruitment and selection, and ends with development through training. This process also involves objective performance evaluation, fair compensation, and professional termination management. Each stage is designed to ensure that educational institutions have competent and motivated teams.

Fourth: Ultimately, good management of educators and education personnel is not merely an administrative task, but a long-term investment. This aims to create a positive work environment, increase job satisfaction, and ultimately, drive improvements in the overall quality of education. Therefore, effective human resource management is key to the success of every educational institution in achieving its goals.
