3. BBC NEWS INDONESIA

On the BBC NEWS INDONESIA page entitled " Putin katakan Rusia berjuang untuk 'tanah air, jaya bagi kemenangan, hore,' Zelensky tuduh Moskow ulangi kekejaman Nazi ", they discuss Rusia's invasion of Ukraine. On this page, Putin said that the military operation, which is called a special operation, was important because of a provocation from the West. It is also rumored that Putin will convey big things such as war or other things. But quoted from BBC NEWS INDONESIA, they say that the speech that Putin made on May 9 was mostly to defend his invasion of Ukraine.

On this page it is also explained that there are accusations imposed by Ukraine, namely the accusation of Ukraine against Russia for "Nazizm".

"In speech commemorating World War II, Zelensky says Russian army is replicating Nazi "atrocities" in invasion of his country" - BBC NEWS INDONESIA

This page also describes the victims of the Putin invasion. He remained adamant that doing so was a sacred thing because he was defending his country. Before Putin's speech, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of trying to "reconstruct Nazism". This statement is in contrast to the claims of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who argued that the attack on Ukraine was his country's attempt to fight the "Nazis". Zelensky is believed to be trying to win the hearts of European countries, including Britain, France and the Netherlands through this speech. He likened the Nazi bombings of Western Europe to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Zelensky is also mentioned here asking for help to the G7 countries and they agreed to help Ukraine in the invasion. Examples of this assistance include stopping oil supplies to Russia, sending military aid, and visits to places close to Kyiv.

Responses From Various Countries

1. French and German

The speech indeed caused an uproar in the world, including these two countries, namely France and Germany. The responses of the two countries were represented by their respective heads of state.

the two countries responded to Putin's speech on Monday, May 9 with gratitude and relief because Putin did not mention the escalation of war. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz told reporters in Berlin Monday, (9/5/2022), it was important there was no escalation, "at least as far as the rhetoric is concerned" in Putin's Victory Day speech.-KompasTV

His comments were echoed by French President Emmanuel Macron, who added the aim of the diplomatic effort remained a ceasefire in Ukraine. The French president also added that they still intend to fulfill their main goal, namely a ceasefire and help Ukraine to negotiate under the terms they decided on themselves, especially since France is on the side of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
