Everyone uses cellphones because it defines status. This helps people gain social acceptance. It would be strange if all of a sudden the cellphone did not exist. This becomes a bizarre concept because people start to follow one another like clones. Individualism is lost. Is this where we see ourselves in the future? This Bizarre on Stage is protest theatre that wants an audience to feel out of their comfort zone, and after the performance feel shocked, and reflect on who they are. As a result change their view and encourage them to be the change in this world. Bizarre on Stage will reveal an experience interpretation of a strange world, a world dictated by others that must be followed to be socially accepted. Humans always have a choice to find faith in themselves or have faith in the masses. Where would man really like to stand so that the life he lives has purpose and is fulfilling? Do we want to make our own choices for the clothes that we wear, the friends we make, the man/woman we marry or do you want someone else to make the choices for us? Bizarre on Stage is a performance art concept that comes from the idea of performing many abnormalities of our daily lives on stage. Teguh Hartono Patriantoro and Iris Schmidt described a Psychologically man can accept an old woman begging. Why does man ignore this? It is because socially he believes he is not affected, but he is, he has lost compassion to help the woman. He has digressed from humanity. In the world we think money makes one happy. A tourist equals money. A new mansion will make us feel home. Man becomes greedy. Man forgets about appreciating what he has. As a result he never learns to live with what he’s got instead he focuses on what he does not have. Imagine the difference Bizarre on Stage could make in the lives of people. People will be shown a new- perspective to life, something out of the ordinary and something to inspire a good change.

Imagine if we were trees, a mermaid taking a bath in a house. This performance is to demonstrate unexpected scenarios, the creative and strange part of the human mind we close our hearts to because it is not appropriate; people will judge it or hate it, but this is a truth, and a truth can reveal something of ourselves. The positive results of this are that we can become our own person. We can stop littering. We can stop thinking someone’s going to clean up after us. We can then take responsibility for the choices we make and the things we do. In Bizarre on Stage, through observations and discussions, unconscious abnormal human behaviour become a focal point for this performance. We believe by demonstrating unconscious abnormal human behaviour on stage, we will create public awareness. Of course here it is not just about the issues, but it is something that we can acknowledge as an art form to promote awareness amongst our people. In this sense the question why do we fear what we do not know? Arises. Therefore can we accept change? Is it possible to not stare or take photos of a white person and think it’s the most amazing thing you have ever seen? Can we stop judging a person by their skin colour As a person, you are free to explore your creative ideas as possible and make it into a show of your own that reflects the values ​​of your life. Your life mirrors your soul. If you want to look like Jack Sparrow, then look like Jack Sparrow; if you want to sing terrible Karaoke and sad pop songs for the rest of your life, and it makes you happy, so be it, just as long as it was based on your decision and no one made the decision for you.
This Bizarre on Stage will introduce to people that it’s not only different, but good to make your own choices so you can choose your pathway in life with consciousness of yourself and the influence you have mentally and physically on everything around you. Using the concept of the senses for example a man will eat salt another man will see this and think what the man ate was very salty. We humans are very perceptive of everything around us. Take a moment and observe. Stop rushing to work; instead open your heart to a reality that life is in actual fact abnormal.
