An Unforgettable Experience

Orientation:

Last year, my friends and I decided to go hiking on Mount Panderman in Batu, East Java. It was my first time climbing a mountain, and I was very excited. We started our journey early in the morning, bringing enough food, water, and a map.

Events:

At first, everything went well. The weather was nice, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. However, when we reached halfway up, thick fog suddenly appeared, and we lost sight of the main path. We tried to follow the map, but somehow we got lost. I felt nervous because my phone signal was gone, and it was getting colder. Luckily, one of my friends remembered to bring a whistle. After a few minutes of blowing it, a group of hikers heard us and helped guide us back to the right path.

Reorientation:

Finally, we reached the campsite safely, even though we were very tired. That experience taught me to always be prepared and stay calm in difficult situations. It was scary, but also unforgettable!
