Many animals are around human life. Fish is one of the animals that has many benefits for humans. The benefits of fish are divided into 2 parts, namely, fish consumed as food and ornamental fish used as a means of entertainment and hobbies. As we know, the prospect of ornamental fish is currently experiencing an increase, one of which is betta fish cultivation. 

Betta fish itself is a freshwater fish whose native habitat comes from several countries in Southeast Asia, namely, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, and Vietnam. This fish has a unique shape and character and tends to be aggressive in defending its territory.

Based on the article from okezone.com, the results of this betta fish cultivation can help improve the economic standard of life of the community. A betta fish farmer named Nurhadi has pocketed a turnover of around Rp. 20 million to Rp. 40 million per month. The process of cultivating betta fish is also quite simple, you only need to combine male betta fish and female betta fish in one container or aquarium.

Apart from being an income enhancer for humans, betta fish also functions to reduce the level of stress experienced by humans, this is because the colors of the betta fish are very diverse which makes humans feel happier when they see the betta fish.

Apart from ornamental fish, consumption fish also has many benefits for humans, especially for human health. There are many types of fish that are included in the types of consumption fish, including salmon, tuna, tilapia, gouramy, snapper, sardines, milkfish, pomfret, mackerel, and others. Fish is a food ingredient that is rich in protein, minerals, and healthy fats. In addition, fish also contains omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin K which are needed by the body.

As for the following there are some of the benefits of fish that we consume for the body, namely, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke, both for brain and eye development, preventing and overcoming depression, meeting the need for vitamin D intake, preventing asthma in children, reducing the risk of autoimmune disease, protecting the eyes from decreased function due to aging, improving sleep quality, reducing the risk of premature birth in pregnant women, supporting bone health, and many more benefits of fish for the health of the human body.


In conclusion, based on the article above fish has  many benefits for humans life in terms of  entertainment, economy and health.
