Open the first day of 2022, SM Entertainment held an online concert special for their fans called SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU Express @Kwangya. With a lot of musicians, this online concert live for almost 5 hours!
It's been 2 years since the world got pandemic because of COVID-19. That case has involved a lot of aspect such as entertainment. There are a lot musicians that have to declined or postponed their concert because they don't want to decrease the growth of this COVID-19.
Don't want let the fans keep on waiting, SM Entertainment  held an online concert called SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU Express @Kwangya on this January, 1st 2022. Live on digital such as Instagram, YouTube and some national television stations, this concert has been attracted a lot of fans attention in the world, including Indonesia.
With an outer space theme, SM Entertainment made their fans can't stop watching the entire concert. In this online concert, SM Entertainment brought some of their famous musicians such as BoA, KangTa, TVXQ, Red Velvet, Taeyeon Girls Generation, Hyoyeon Girls Generation, Minho Shinee, Key Shinee, Red Velvet, Kai EXO, NCT, and Aespa. To make the concert become more memorable and fun, they also have the SMTOWN After Party with their famous DJs such as Raiden, Minimonster, Mar Vista, and many more. They also give the fans an extra surprise by announcing a new group called Girls On Top (GOT). GOT will be a new unit that have Taeyeon and Hyoyeon from Girls Generation, Wendy and Seulgi from Red Velvet, Karina and Winter from Aespa. This girls unit will bring girls power as their main theme.
SM Entertainment has been held a lot of online activity such as concert and fan meeting special for their fans. A lot of fans wishing that the online activity will become an annual event during the pandemic.
