Optimization of the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) in Human Resource Management

The phenomenon in modern personnel management shows that the effectiveness of bureaucracy greatly depends on an integrated and technology-based information system. However, many government institutions still face challenges in managing employee data accurately and efficiently. Therefore, this paper discusses the concept, management, performance, and development of the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) as a strategic solution to achieve professional, transparent, and efficient human resource governance.

First, the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) is an integrated system based on information technology that manages personnel data accurately and quickly to support administration, supervision, and career development, while improving the efficiency of personnel management across government institutions in an integrated, effective, and transparent manner.

Second, the management of SIMPEG includes job analysis, human resource planning, compensation administration, and legal compliance to ensure fairness and organizational efficiency, accompanied by maintaining employee welfare and responsible termination of employment to uphold professionalism and effective personnel management.

Third, the operation of SIMPEG utilizes information technology to enhance efficiency, communication, and decision-making through the management of employee data, official records, reports, and integrated administration to support organizational performance and effective personnel development.

Fourth, the development and implementation of regional SIMPEG applications aim to optimize the centralized management of civil servant data through service systems, data entry forms, data updates, and structured information processing supported by administrator, finance, attendance, employee, and public menus to improve regional personnel management efficiency.

Ultimately, SIMPEG is an integrated, technology-based system designed to manage personnel data efficiently, transparently, and systematically to support administration, performance, and employee career development.
