Nowadays, a bachelor's degree is not something that has the opportunity to get a job easily. This is because a university is able to produce hundreds or even thousands of graduates each year. Graduates who will become candidates or job applicants will not automatically get the desired job on the basis of the educational background they have obtained, so it is necessary to screen candidates who are qualified in order to maintain the quality of the company as well. The candidate must have at least one skill that will support his/her performance in the company for which he/she is applying. This qualification is one of the requirements for companies to recruit prospective workers in order to maintain the quality of human resources in it. Screening of prospective workers is usually carried out in several stages, namely the CV screening process, psychological tests, HRD interviews, user interviews, and offerings. The greater the level of a person's ability or interest in applying for a related position, the greater the chance of being accepted for work and this will be a point of relief for job seekers. However, not a few of the jobseekers who have difficulty finding work or are still in the search process. This is due to the candidate's ignorance in finding passion or interest in work. Therefore, as a job seeker, you must identify yourself and what interests and skills you actually have so that you are worthy of being accepted by the relevant company. Here are 5 ways to identify yourself as an active and qualified job seeker.

Firstly, the most important thing is that you work according to your field. Everyone must have a great interest in learning new things so that not a few people try to get out of their comfort zone. For example, if you are a Literature graduate who has studied many literary works, writing, analyzing, studying language and its use and so on then you are thinking of becoming an administrator in an office. In this case, the field of education and the job you are applying for will veer away and you will automatically try from 0 in the field of administration (especially you do not have experience as an admin). Moreover, you apply armed with educational reasons as a graduate. In this case, the company will look for candidates who are experts in their fields to make recruitment easier. Then it's better for you to try to find a job that fits your field so that your latest experience, learning, and educational knowledge can be useful and beneficial where you work.

Secondly, if you don't have any experience in working at all, try to attend webinars, training courses, and create works or products (physical or digital) independently. During the job search process, you may get tired and give up because no company is willing to hire you. Don't wory! Stay in calm, keep trying, and think positive, or even you can while working on something that produces a product. This product can be in the form of software, the result of editing songs or pictures, written works, food products or ready-to-use objects and so on. If you continue to do it regularly, the products you produce can be used as a quality portfolio. Not infrequently companies glance at candidates who already have their own products and think that you are a reliable person in doing a job.

Thirdly, make your CV more qualified potential. This is also very influential in the screening process. If you are asked to upload a CV to the company website, make it in ATS form. Usually, CV ATS will only detect writing. So, design your CV with writing that is weighty and has high professionalism. Some of the keywords you can write include assisting, sorting, responsible, creating, maintaining, producing, performing, build, increasing, and etc. Furthermore, if you apply by sending an email to the company you can use a creative CV. It would be even better if the position you are applying for is as a content creator, writer, social media specialist, or a job that requires your creativity, a CV with a creative design is a CV that is perfect for you to submit. If you apply as a secretary, teller, sales, marketing, receptionist or job that is minimal in developing creativity, you can still make a creative CV but you must be better able to elaborate your sentences to make it look professional to read. Your CV is the basic information that you provide so that recruiters know about you, so give an impression that makes your CV similar to your personality. This will make it easier for recruiters to identify you.

Fourthly, self-preparation is important before applying for a job. Therefore you have to learn how to behave in an interview, answer the interviewer's questions, to how to do a psychological test. Nowadays, ethics is one of the things that is very considered when communicating. This is a firm point in how a person behaves in his daily life. Ethics will reflect a person's personality, therefore ethics can be seen from the neatness of dress and ways of communicating. For job applicants, you should continue to practice how to answer good and correct interview questions so as not to be nervous and build confidence in explaining yourself. Your confidence will give a positive impression to recruiters and you will be a good consideration as a candidate. In addition, studying psychological tests is also important because some companies provide psychological tests for applicants. It aims to determine a person's personality through oral or written tests whether a person is competent to work in the related company.

Last but not least, as a jobseeker you must active to find the related job vacancies. Try to keep up to date with the latest published work. Pay attention to the last updated date so the possibility of being called for an interview will also be great because you are an active applicant. Have a good understanding of your CV in relation to related companies. Pay attention to the date the vacancy is published and when it will close. Further, try to apply on the first days of opening the vacancy so that recruiters also see your dexterity in applying. This will also have a positive impact on you because your name will be on the initial list in the application.

In conclusion, a job applicant is someone who is ready to work. They just need adjustment, willingness to learn, work consistency, and time to adapt to the work environment. With the quality of self that has been prepared, a job applicant must have the skills and expertise of interest to make it easier for him to work in the related company. Therefore, screening is very necessary since companies need people who are able to work well and professionally so that there will be several stages to be recruited and recruited to become an employee. Your consistency will pay off because you already have a great ability for yourself as an active and qualified job seeker.
