Like the other celebration, I wait for the dinner session. I have explored and found some various of appetizer, main course, and dessert. I found Indonesian Food, Azerbaijan food, and international food. Some of Azerbaijan cuisine as "signature dish" like kk (read: kyukyu) and tandir (kind of bread) makes me can't forget the taste.
Kuku is national Azerbaijani vegetarian dish, made of fresh chopped herbs and eggs, and served with a sauce of yogurt and garlic, the taste is unique you can imagine like you are eating fried egg (telurdadar) with herbs and maybe close enough like "martabaktelur" without "kulit lumpia". Tandir bread is special bread that usually preferred over the other bread on special occasions such as weddings, birthday party and holiday celebrations.Â
Tandir represents the clay oven (in Azerbaijani called Tandir) to bake the bread. The taste is good and the texture is soft, I remember Cane bread when I eat this. I eat Tandir with soup but unfortunately, I forgot the name of soup, but it tastes good and there is a nut in there. Â In one word, the Azerbaijan dish is very delicious!
