Her debut novel, "Dapur Ajaib dan Kisah-Kisah di Dalamnya", was published in 2023. It combines her love for food with magical elements in everyday life.
When asked about her connection to the characters she creates, Izaddina responded, "Some of my characters' traits are inspired by people I like in real life. So, sometimes I end up liking the fictional characters I create too."
She also mentioned that she uses free psychological tests to shape her characters' personalities and better understand how they would make decisions or face challenges.
Meanwhile, Zelda Maharani often uses zodiac signs as a reference for character personalities. For physical appearances, she relies on AI technology to blend colors, tones, and other visual elements.
"If I write a character with purple hair, I immediately explain the context. For example, she's into film and art, so it makes sense that her hair is colorful," she explained.
Henry Setiawan, the third speaker, starts character creation with basic identity details like name, place of origin, and family background. He doesn't put much emphasis on physical features, choosing instead to focus on the soul of the character.
"Since readers don't always visualize a character's full physical appearance, there are many other aspects that can be explored," he said.
The webinar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, filled with enthusiasm from participants, highlighting the importance of shared spaces like this for digital literature writers.
