A. Definition of Educational Resource Management
Management is the effective and efficient use of resources. Educational resources are all factors that support the management of education in order to carry out the educational process and achieve common goals.
The elements of Islamic educational resource management include: Man, Methods, Materials, Money, Machines, Market. The objective of educational resource management is that humans play the most dominant role, because as members of an organization, they have a competitive advantage and very strong competitiveness. The principles of educational resource management are statements or fundamental truths that provide guidance for thoughts or actions to be taken or decided upon. Henry Fayol (in Afan Zaini) divided these into 14 parts, namely division of labor, duties and authority, discipline, unity of command, unity of direction/goals, boundaries between individual and public interests, personnel remuneration, centralization, chain of command, order, equity, stability of personnel tenure, initiative, and esprit de corps.
Education management is the structuring of the field of education through activities such as planning, organizing, staffing, coaching, coordinating, communicating, motivating, budgeting, controlling, supervising, evaluating, and reporting in a systematic manner.
B. Function Management of Educational Resources
In achieving a management goal, the focus is not only on people as managers and other implementing members as defined in management. However, it also requires other means that are closely related to the achievement of goals.
C. Effectiveness of Educational Resource Management
One way to measure the performance of a program is by calculating its efficiency and productivity.
D. Scope of Educational Resource Management
The scope of educational resource management consists of:
