On February 16, 2025, South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron, 24, was found dead in her home in the Seongsu-dong neighborhood of eastern Seoul.
A friend who was planning to meet her discovered her and alerted the police at approximately 4:55 PM local time.
Kim began her acting career as a child and garnered attention for her roles in films such as "A Brand New Life" (2009) and "The Man from Nowhere" (2010).
In 2022, her career faced challenges after a DUI incident. A DUI (Driving Under the Influence) accident is a collision caused by a driver operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or both.
While initial reports suggested cardiac arrest as a possible cause of death, the exact cause of Kim Sae-ron's death is still under investigation by the police.
