Firstly, What is Corona Viruses?

This virus started on December 31 2019 in China. China reported some unusual pneumonia in Wu Han, China. This virus was unknown. 07 January, the officials announced that they had identified a new virus and said that it was a disease from animals such as rats/bats.

At first, people don't think this as a serious problem since it was only in China. But until now it has reached 190+ countries and become a real pandemic world wide.

Coronaviruses are a group of related viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds . In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that can be mild, such as some cases of the common cold.

There are yet to be vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections. Coronaviruses cause colds with major symptoms, such as fever, and a sore throat from swollen adenoids , occurring primarily in the winter and early spring seasons. Coronaviruses also cause pneumonia and bronchitis.

Scientifically, Coronaviruses constitute the subfamily Orthocoronavirinae, They are enveloped viruses with a positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome and a nucleocapsid of helical symmetry. The genome size of coronaviruses ranges from approximately 27 to 34 kilobases , the largest among known RNA viruses.

Secondly, How this Virus spreads?

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a pandemic over a new coronavirus which causes an illness known as COVID-19 that has spread to at least 190 countries and territories.

This virus has killed more than 68.000 peoples and infected at least 1.2 million people worldwide in time less than a year and still keep increasing in number. In Indonesia this pandemic death's case more than 200 peoples in 2000 cases which means that in Indonesia it has a 10% chances of Death.

Coronaviruses are common and spread through being in proximity to an infected person and inhaling droplets generated when they cough or sneeze, or touching a surface where these droplets land and then touching one's face or nose.
