PENGURANGAN (Subtraction)
Angka kecil = 6 – 3 = 3 (three from six leaves/is three) atau (six take away three leaves/is three). Kata ‘leaves’ atau ‘is’ boleh diganti ‘equals’.
Angka besar = 760 – 524 = 136 (seven hundred and sixty minus five hundred and twenty-four equals a hundred and thirty-six). Kata ‘minus’ boleh diganti ‘subtracted by’.
Berapa 7 – 5? (What ‘s seven minus five?)
PERKALIAN (Multiplication)
Angka kecil : 3 x 4 = 12 (three fours are twelve), 5 x 2 = 10 (five twos are ten)
