What is Valorant?

Valorant is a free online game published by Riot games which were officially released on June 2, 2020, which has been in development since 2014.

This game is a team-based and first-person shooting. The game is a collection of agents or characters designed according to different countries and cultures around the world. The game is divided into two parts, defend or attack and each team has five players on the team. The agent or character has unique abilities and is different from other agents, with these abilities there is a role for each agent.

The role is divided into 4 parts, namely duelist, sentinel, initiator, and controller. These 4 roles complement each other and need each other to win the game.

The flow of the game in valorant is divided into 4 to its core, namely; unrated, competitive, deathmatch, and spike rush. But if there is an event every 3 months there is usually a new mode, namely; escalation, and snowball fight.

Valorant, like many other competitive shooters, has become active in esports. Riot Games decided to create its first tournament called "First Strike" to build the foundation for the esports scene to be built with the game. In November 2020, Riot Games announced a tournament series called the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) which is a year-round competition consisting of 3 levels namely; VALORANT Challengers, VALORANT Masters, and VALORANT Champions. 

Teams will qualify directly for the Champions via the top spot on Circuit Point Standings in their region, based on Challengers and Masters results. The team in the middle position in Circuit Point Standings will have one more chance to qualify for the Champions by winning the Last Chance Qualifiers (North America, EMEA, South America, Asia). 

VALORANT Conquerors Championship (VCC) - The South Asian team directly qualified for the Last Chance Qualifiers of Asia through the VCC. VALORANT Champions 2021 is a competition that aims to declare the first global champion of Valorant esports, which will be held in December.
